New to W. Alexander and Sons (Northern) Ltd in 1978, a Duple Dominant bodied Leyland Leopard with 49 dual purpose seats.
It spent many of its earlier days in Forfar, but it migrated north and stayed with Northern in the 1985 split. Later it received a refurbishment losing its rather attractive chrome trims in favour of modern rubber bump strips
It remained in the Bluebird fleet until withdrawal and was then preserved at the SVBM where it remained for many years and was beautifully repainted. After a small incident it was decided that the SVBM did not have the time or resources to repair the steel body frame and the coach was sold on, passing through Beith Transport Museum and a private owner based at Watermill Coaches. In 2017 it was up for sale once more and brought home to Angus.
