Angus Transport Group - our Basin Rambler service

 

"The Basin Rambler" is our special free running day service linking Montrose High Street and Montrose Railway Station with the Caledonian Railway at Bridge of Dun, House of Dun and the Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre.

 

Please note: The drop off bus stop for the Air Station is Brechin Road (opposite the Retail Park) and the pick up is at the Angus College Annex on Northesk Road. These are REQUEST STOPS, inform the crew on the bus for these stops.

 

Due to the age of our vehicles the bus used may not be suitable for the carriage of disabled passengers. Services may be altered, curtailed or suspended without prior notice.

 

2026 dates.

- Summer Sundays: 5, 12, & 19 July and 2, 16 & 23 August.

- Day Out with Thomas weekends: 25 & 26 July and 29 & 30 August.

- Diesel Gala Weekend: 7, 8 and 9 August.
